Testimonies

These short accounts were gathered from forum messages, private correspondence, and second-hand recollections. They should not be treated as fully reliable. Their value lies mostly in repetition, overlap, and contradiction.

Collected accounts

The entries below are presented in translated or lightly normalized form where necessary. Original spelling and phrasing were inconsistent.

Anonymous local source Piła / recalled in 2005

They were not famous, not even locally. You only heard the name if someone older mentioned it first. I remember one rehearsal space being discussed more often than the songs themselves.

oral recollection
Unsigned note language: Polish

Pamiętam ich może z nazwy, ale bardziej pamiętam ludzi, którzy o nich mówili. To był chyba taki zespół, o którym więcej się opowiadało niż go naprawdę słuchało.

private message copy
Former tape owner (?) message dated 2006

I had something labeled Miasto bez ust years ago, but I cannot swear it was original. By then the cassette was already copied too many times. The sound dropped in and out.

Witness account language: Polish

Bas był zaskakująco wyraźny. Nie pamiętam dobrze gitary, ale bas pamiętam. To dziwne, bo zwykle na takich nagraniach ginie właśnie dół.

Collector from Poznań circulating claim

Somebody once told me there were two different cassette versions with slightly different song titles. That sounds unlikely, but not impossible if one copy was relabeled from memory.

unverified collector note

Late reconstruction English summary from Polish source

The strangest thing is that nobody seems to remember the same concert in exactly the same way. People agree on the existence of a band more often than they agree on what the band actually sounded like.

Editorial note

None of these testimonies proves anything on its own. Together, however, they suggest the persistence of a small, unstable memory cluster around the name Mundstuck — too vague for certainty, too consistent to dismiss completely.
