Singer, lyricist, and the most discussed figure in the entire Mundstuck story.

Partly confirmed

  • Usually identified as Marek Krawiec.
  • Nickname Suchy appears in at least two separate accounts.
  • Believed to have written most or all of the surviving song texts.
  • Possibly worked in or near a metal workshop in Piła.
  • Described as thin, withdrawn in conversation, but intense on stage.

Rumors, myths, contradictions

  • One story says he was briefly detained after an unauthorized performance.
  • Another claims he left for East Germany in 1986.
  • Someone else insisted “Marek Krawiec” was not his real name at all.
  • A recurring legend says he burned several notebooks of lyrics before disappearing from local circles.

A witness from a later punk scene gathering claimed that Suchy had “the kind of voice that sounded older than his face,” but nobody agrees on what that means.

Notes

If any member became mythologized after the band vanished, it was almost certainly him. Some accounts turn him into a political dissident, some into a local eccentric, and some reduce him to a boy with a notebook and a damaged amplifier.

The last version is probably the nearest to the truth.
